Our emphasis when building the house in 2012 was on naturalness and brightness. This is reflected in the use of a lot of wood and glass —the house is just flooded with light. Päikese holiday house is a combination of modern style and traditional log house. We deeply care about the environment, therefore when building the house, careful attention was (and still is) paid to environmental considerations
We are a three generation family business whose cooperation results in Päikese Holiday House. Everyday managing of the House is done by grandparents next to their main field of activity organic farming (sheep-breeding, organic potato- and vegetable farming). The children and grandchildren have moved to the capital for now but are still firmly involved in marketing and design of the Holiday House, thus are spending more and more time in Saaremaa. It has often been said that Päikese Holiday House is the reflection of its owners- indeed we are simple, opened and foremost hope that every person spending time here feels good ☺
