Päikese holiday house story
Päikese holiday house was born from a desire to create a place where life moves at a slower pace – a lovely and spacious log house nestled in the woods, where you can simply be, spend time with friends, and enjoy the peace of nature with all modern comforts.
A family dream come true
We are a three-generation family business, and through our shared effort, this dream came true in the summer of 2013.
The holiday house is managed daily on-site by the grandparents, whose main occupation is organic farming – sheep breeding, as well as growing organic potatoes and vegetables. The children and grandchildren live in the capital, but take part in running the holiday house remotely and whenever they are visiting Saaremaa.

For us, it’s important that Päikese holiday house offers more than just accommodation – we want you to feel like you’re at your own countryside home. That’s why we continuously improve and develop the house, listening to feedback and ensuring that every guest feels truly comfortable here.
